Had a meaningful birthday on the 7th Nov, was doing duty almost the whole day......"For The Service For Mankind" that's the motto of St. John for those who do not know. But I had a great evening before my B'day ends, Thanks to Tim, Kam, Kana n her sis that had been waiting for me at HQ till my duty ends to throw me my celebration. Got me a cake (photo update later) n a cute little present to remind me of what I'm going to be after graduation (photo later also)too tired to upload now. Thank guys for making my day an unforgettable one. Well 2 more days till my PRCP. That's all for now......Cheers!

Last week of holiday!

Hello all, I'm in my last week of holiday now, will start my PRCP next Monday and I will be doing it at the Emergency Department......Yeah, what I've wanted. so from next week onward I will be following the normal roster routine planned by the hospital......feels like back to work, new environment thou. So to all my course mates out there, this is the final lap. Let's keep it up and we shall graduate as angels. Cheers for now!

Awaiting PRCP!

Hi guys, have not blogged for a while, now everything is over, no more exams just the Pre Registration Clinical Placement(PRCP) which is awaiting for me to complete the whole Diploma in Nursing. Location of placement is out and I will be posted to SGH Ward 64, I have requested to be posted to do my PRCP at TTSH Emergency Department thou, so now waiting for approval. I will have to complete weeks at a ward first then to ED for the rest of the 6 weeks. Wish me luck people. To all my Course mates at NYP and classmates from NR0623......Let's strive hard for the next 12 weeks and let us all walk out of NYP as a Full Pledge Registered Nurse......Cheers!

Operating Theater posting is over

Finished my operating theater posting yesterday and the result for my HS3033 Supp paper is out, got the result via SMS with the word SP...... what a relieve. This means that there will be no more examinations for me.....Yeah!!!!! Left with another week of Emergency Department posting at SGH (which I happen to still appear today for Ex Kingfisher)and I will be almost with my attachment. Will be on a 3 weeks long holiday after that and I still dunno what to do for the 3 weeks so if anyone has any plans, please call me......hehehe. After the 3 weeks of holiday I will begin my Post Registration Confirmation Placement (PRCP) for 3 months, this will determine if I'm able to be a Registered Nurse...... All the best to my classmates from NR0623 which will be walking through this path together, let's persevere and graduate as RN in a few months time......Cheers

Singapore's history event is over!

Yeah......the first ever event in Singapore is finally over, yes the F1 night race, ended yesterday, been busy with the medical coverage tru the past 3 nights. Had a good time at the Medical post at War Memorial with the nurses n doctors, on the last day I got to drive in the F1 track.....wow......but in a safety buggy of course, but it was a amazing drive, while in one of the other post, I met a bunch of spectator from Spain and I did a trade, I exchange my Airborne badge with him for spectator pass also at the place were parked some cars had a few snapshots of them, time for me to enjoy the rest of my school holiday for another week before my operating theater posting begin......That's' all for the time being, Cheers!

Taken the supp paper!

Took my supp paper on Monday, hope that everything goes well...... in the mist of my 2 weeks holiday now, will be busy with the F1 medical coverage, from Friday to Sunday 12pm to 12 midnight. Pray that the event goes well too, this is the first time Singapore is holding such event. Bless a safe event tru the 3 days......Cheers!

Exams Results are out!!!!!

HAHA...... My exams results are out, got all the grades A,B,C,D and F. I flung one of the module which I least expected to fail but......I did fail, will be taking my supp paper on the 22nd Sept 2008...... So wish me luck!!!!!Hehehe.

Blogging again!!!!!

Hi peeps, have not blogged for a while, was so tired after my attachment. I'm currently doing my attachment at TTSH Ward 9C, dunno what a hack am I doing there, suppose to be my gerontology posting but I'm in a Gen Med and Neurology/Neuro Surg ward...... Had a good time thou, this is my first posting at TTSH and I've discovered that the culture here is so much different from the previous hospital I've been working at and on attachment. The staff are so much friendlier then those I've met before...... So I will be continuing my posting for another 3 days at TTSH, then I will be going to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital for my Health Care for Elderly component...... will be busy with the Singapore First F1 race......will be providing medical coverage during the 3 days......busy assisting in the training of people involve in the event etc...... Cheers for now.

Blog Ah Seah waiting for......

Ah Seah, here is the blog u r waiting for, the story goes, was at Changi Airport on Sunday to send someone of to the United States for further studies, was there early so popped over to Cheers to get some drinks......I got a can of traditional remedy concocted into a drink here it is
the traditional remedy Pi Pa Kao made into can drink.

My dear friend saw it and call it mopiko an ointment for itch...... and there I was still agreeing that it is mopiko, then later corrected the name and the whole evening was surrounded with the issues of "mopiko" and "pi pa ko"! To say both has the same effect for itch one for the skin and the other is for the throat...... The next time I will ask for a can of mopiko from the cashier instead......cheers Ah Seah

Final exams are over!!!!!!

Hooray, the exams are finally over. Let's pray that there is no need for me to take any supp paper......lol. But sad to mentioned that during the mists of my examinations, daddy has been called home to be with the lord on the 16th Aug 2008. Was really a hectic time to juggle the wake, funeral and my exams during that period. But it is finally all over now...... To dad with the All Mighty Lord, May You Rest In Peace...... That's all for now.

Full Speed Ahead!!!!!

Have not been blogging for a real long time, in a short moment, I will be finishing my Sem 1 of my final year of diploma study...... All ICAs are done with (so far so good), Prac assessment cleared...... waiting for the "BIG DAY" to arrive, the sem exams!!!!! Will be the last exams I'll be taking (hope so, then I'll be out on my final attachments then Pre Registration Clinical Placement (PRCP)......Wish me luck that everything will be smooth sailing!!!!!
